At first it was quiet, the noise was from the organizers trying to put final touches to the stage. i looked at my watch it was running ahead of the schedule time, all the audience could do was talk about it “When is it going to start” some of us felt like we were in the wrong room until much later a man stood up and greeted and continue to talk then we realize we were at the agreed place.

if you weren’t at the JOS Peace Prize for Poetry 2017, you have missed out, i saw young minds ravaging the words stored up within them, it very amazing and spectacular, it was fun to hear them understand the deeper meaning of words.

Not forgetting the Gurus of Poetry and Spoken words in Plateau State and beyond in the likes of ‘AP i call her the goddess of words and Decipher the Prince of words with a slogan “words have mercy.” among others. They were given the award for recognition. You guys have made the state proud with your agile and relentless effort in promoting Poetry and Spoken Words. Much Applaud to you.
